Thanks for the info, stew.

I think I am going to play the OVER on this match (OVER 2 & 2.5, -118 @ Pinnacle). I have heard that Mark Hughes will also play most of his regulars and Blackburn will be looking to score at home which may also leave some openings at the back for Man U to score.

i dont understand the attitude of english top-teams in the cup...from all they are saying, they seem to care much more about their cups than spanish, italien or german teams.

but then yesterday arsenal did not play with the first team. i know it's two legs, but it's a semifinal and we are not talking a minor league team..it was wigan, one of the top teams this year and an away game...it could easily be already 2-0 or 3-0 down and a sure exit from the cup...in addition arsenal is already out of the premiership-race, so this might be the biggest chance to get some silver-ware...can somebody explain that to me..this behaviour of the top-teams makes it very difficult for me to cap this games.

BTW i am on blackburn tonight, seing what happened yesterday night, i think MU would be happy to settle with a draw and advance at home.

Man U have very little left to play for this season, as far as Silverware goes, so they should be at least trying to advance to the Carling Cup Final. It is, however, not important for them to win today as this Semi-final is two legs and an Away Draw today would suit them just fine.

tried the Over myself, both teams with strong sides. CC still isn't taken that seriously and I expect it will be a open game with Man Utd attacking and Blackburn trying to hit with Bellamy on the break.

2 goals in the first 35 minutes and then nothing. That sucks.

Man U are in a good position to advance with either a 0-0 Draw or a Win at Old Trafford.
